In 1994 Dave Penterics began thinking it would be great if farmers could burn their own corn as a way of heating their homes or shops.  Things were slow to start but the idea and technology of burning wood, wood pellets, cherry pits, corn, and coal caught on.  This gave people an option to either supplement their current fuel source or be independent from fuel oil, propane, or natural gas.  In 2014 Dave decided to separate the stove business from his other business, Penn Acres Grain.  D&D stoves offers indoor and outdoor multifuel stoves and furnaces.  D&D also stocks many of the parts for the stoves they sell.  D&D stoves also provides service and cleaning on these stoves.
